May 30, 2019, 5-8pm (CT): Women’s Bar Association of Illinois Annual Event, the WBAI’s annual dinner, during which the Association will be honoring the suffragists who secured the 19th Amendment.
June 10, 2019, 10:15am (CT): 19th Amendment Ratification Commemoration, a celebration hosted by U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth and Illinois Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton at the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago. Wear white or purple to the celebration!
August-September 2019: Pop-up versions of the National Archives exhibit Rightfully Hers will be distributed to 53 venues across the Illinois—including schools, libraries, museums, and community sites—to be displayed for the centennial.
