  • August-September 2019: Pop-up versions of the National Archives exhibit Rightfully Hers will be distributed to 22 venues across the Indiana—including schools, libraries, museums, and community sites—to be displayed for the centennial.

  • August 26, 2019: 2019 Women’s Equality Day March, a march celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment.

State initiatives

  • The Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission was formed by House Enrolled Act No. 1394 in April 2019.

  • The Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial collaborative, founded by the Indiana Humanities, the Indianapolis Propylaeum, the Indiana Historical Society, and the Indiana Historical Bureau, provides a platform to find Indiana events and educational resources related to the centennial of the 19th Amendment.
