  • August-September 2019: Pop-up versions of the National Archives exhibit Rightfully Hers will be distributed to 48 venues across the North Carolina—including schools, libraries, museums, and community sites—to be displayed for the centennial.

  • September 7, 2019, 10am-3pm (ET): She Changed the World, a nonpartisan event on the grounds of the State Capitol held by the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources to kick-off the state’s celebration of the suffrage centennial. There will be vendors, partner organizations, exhibitors, food trucks, performances, and a voter registration drive! Come, participate, and learn about the women of the past and present who can inspire you! This is event is free to attend and open to all.
