Opening March 2019: Game Changers: Pennsylvania Women Who Made History, exhibit at the Governor’s Residence.
June 19, 2019: Justice Bell Foundation board members Michele Stingle, Mingo Stroeber and Amanda Owen traveled to Harrisburg at the invitation of PA Rep. Leanne Krueger for the introduction of Resolution 405 that honored the Justice Bell and its maker Katharine Wentworth Ruschenberger. Pa. state Rep. Leanne Krueger commemorated the centennial of the of the commonwealth’s ratification of the 19th Amendment, which guarantees women the right to vote.
June 24, 2019, 11am-1pm (ET): Ratifying the 19th Amendment: Celebrating Women’s Suffrage in PA, public event in the East Wing Rotunda of the State Capitol.
June 24, 2019: 19th Amendment Celebration, an event at the Governor’s Residence highlighting women game changers, details coming soon.
July 7-12, 2019: 19th Amendment, a professional development summer program for teachers, hosted at Valley Forge.
August-September 2019: Pop-up versions of the National Archives exhibit Rightfully Hers will be distributed to 35 venues across the Pennsylvania—including schools, libraries, museums, and community sites—to be displayed for the centennial.
August 13-25, 2019: Justice Bell Exhibit, see a replica of the historic Justice Bell at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Historic Landmark Building in Philadelphia.
August 26, 2019: Debut of the Justice Bell Replica, a reception to officially debut the replica of the historic Justice Bell at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Historic Landmark Building in Philadelphia.
September 8, 2019: Amanda Owen at the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs/PA Chapter in King of Prussia, PA, the executive director of the Justice Bell Foundation will present the untold story of the Justice Bell and its role in the struggle for women's suffrage.
October 6, 2019: Amanda Owen at the Sharon Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove, PA, the executive director of the Justice Bell Foundation will present the untold story of the Justice Bell and its role in the struggle for women’s suffrage.
January 29 - February 6, 2020: The replica Justice Bell will be on exhibition at the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, PA.
February 1-June 7, 2020: Votes for Women: A Visual History, an exhibit at the Brandywine River Museum of Art.
February 28 - March 9, 2020: The replica Justice Bell will be on exhibition at the Brandywine Rive Museum in Chadds Ford, PA.
August-September 2020: Justice Bell 2020, a tour of the Women’s Liberty Bell from Valley Forge Park to Philadelphia.
August 17, 2020: Amanda Owen at The Hagen Center in Erie, PA, the executive director of the Justice Bell Foundation will present the untold story of the Justice Bell and its role in the struggle for women’s suffrage.
